BW Converting’s Hygiene Business Segment continues to proclaim that “The future of Tissue is here” by further strengthening an unprecedented combination of technology, materials and engineering expertise at MIAC 2024 (Lucca, Italy, October 9-11 – Booth # B112).

At the upcoming MIAC 2024, PCMC will showcase its wide-ranging tissue converting lines offer by illustrating its pre-configured Mia Concept solutions for BRT and HHT products. The range of lines for Mia rolls can offer an innovative combination of complete, pre-configured and balanced solutions for quick commissioning. And in the realm of BRT and HHT rolls, PCMC also confirms the success of its innovative INVISIBLE-O technology for products without a cardboard core, that today counts 22 lines installed and in production in 8 different markets.
For the facial market segment, W+D presents the VENTUS-TI interfolder, the next-generation high-speed production lines for folded facial tissue and hand towels. Designed for high performance and operational efficiency, VENTUS-TI maximizes the synergies among the brands of the Hygiene Business Segment, guaranteeing the best service, new technologies, quality, sustainability, and initiatives aimed at Industry 4.0. At MIAC, on October 10, Veljko Zlatanović, Product Life Cycle Leader at STAX, will discuss new trends in the packaging industry of folded products and new solutions, machines and devices for creating a modern packaging line during a session titled Folded Tissue Packaging Solutions.
Another highlight during MIAC is that Northern Engraving will open the doors to the new EMBOSSING TechniLAB, the place where customers can develop, test and touch their products first-hand.
The EMBOSSING TechniLAB Open Day will be held on Tuesday, October 8, at PCMC’s plant in Chitarrino, Fornaci di Barga. For the occasion, in addition to showcasing the most innovative solutions and innovations on embossing, the new MUSA Pilot Line equipped with the RotorSpray Baldwin lotioner will be presented.
